Ten years ago, Francis, and I came here occupationally (as a Chef and quasi-accountant) with little knowledge of how to operate a deli. The concept was as foreign to us as America was to my husband at the time (a French national).
Over the years, we’ve immersed ourselves into discovering our community. We got to know our neighbors, learned the ways of the island, the deli business and met our customers, who we call friends. We believe in giving back by helping to support and fundraise for various non-profit organizations, locally, regionally and state-wide.
Francis and I have a strong passion and commitment for our business and put our heart and soul into everything we do. We have a very strong work ethic and we have high expectations of ourselves so we may offer only the best to our customers.

Ann Marie Coen is a freelance photographer of sixteen years. She first picked up a camera as she traveled around the world, then became a staffer for the Asbury Park Press before starting Ann Coen Photography. She has become one of the top wedding and portrait photographers at the Jersey Shore. Ann Marie has also been part of numerous art shows in New Jersey and New York, and her work has appeared in renowned editorial publications.
The Ann Coen Gallery is a creative space for Ann to meet with clients as well as showcase her work and the work of other forward-thinking artists in her extensive network, including that of her associate photographers Alex Rivera, Eric Hance, Ryan Johnson and videographer Tony Coon. Ann’s photojournalistic style captures the attention of brides, families and businesses alike, each who contract her time throughout the year.
When not behind the lens, Ann spends her days with her son Archie, traveling, discovering music, exploring culture, enjoying wildlife and supporting community projects.

Our Long Beach Island, better known as LBI, consists of fantastic sunsets and beautiful beaches that sprawl out 18 miles long. LBI rentals and real estate have so much to offer every individual looking for a great home or a memorable summer vacation.North Beach, Harvey Cedars & Barnegat Light are located on the north end. If you are looking for private and quiet times, this area is for you. Most properties are on private tracts of land with 8-10 houses on each lane. Mrs. Engelsen is an Ocean County native with a deep appreciation of New Jersey’s rich, historical background and its breath-taking coastal scenery. She studied art at the Samuel Fleischer Art Memorial in Philadelphia and at thc Philadelphia College of Art. She has also studied at Stockton State College. She paints all medias – watercolor, acrylic, and oil.
She is particularly noted throughout the state for her historical paintings. Each projects reflects detailed research into the state’s past. Her sources include historical societies, libraries, and a treasury of rare old photographs. Lengthy personal interviews with local residents add to her background knowledge.
She has preserved historical New Jersey scenes from northern New Jersey to the coastal shores, and to the western tip in Trenton.
She was commissioned by McDonald’s restaurant to complete a series of historical paintings in Toms River, Manahawkin, Lakehurst, Burlington, Howell and Ocean Township.
In addition, her historical paintings of Newark, Trenton, Burlington and Perth Amboy are in the executive and public offices of Public Service Electric and Gas Company. A particular favorite of Revolutionary War buffs is Mrs. Engelsen’s painting of Cannon Green, Princeton University. This painting hangs in the lobby of the Palmer Inn, Route 1, Princeton, New Jersey.
