Built upon the principles of exceptional service, unequaled design and skilled craftsmanship, David Ash Jr., Landscape Contractors creates elegant, sophisticated outdoor environments for residents and businesses in and around Long Beach Island, NJ.
President David Ash, Jr. is a native LBI resident who began working with his father’s highly regarded home building firm at the age of 11. After graduating from high school, he became a project manager for the company—harnessing his carpentry skills and supervising the construction of luxury bayside homes. Though David eventually pursued a second career in law enforcement, his passion for landscaping drew him back to his design-build roots and facilitated the establishment of his LBI landscape firm.
As hands-on owner of the firm, David designs and implements high-end landscapes and outdoor living areas for beachfront cottages and sprawling estates. Striving to realize your unique vision, his team blends composition, texture & color to elevate your property’s value and appeal. Whether you’re entertaining, seeking sanctuary or communing with nature, you’ll find David’s landscape environments the ideal integration of lifestyle and function.

Ten years ago, Francis, and I came here occupationally (as a Chef and quasi-accountant) with little knowledge of how to operate a deli. The concept was as foreign to us as America was to my husband at the time (a French national).
Over the years, we’ve immersed ourselves into discovering our community. We got to know our neighbors, learned the ways of the island, the deli business and met our customers, who we call friends. We believe in giving back by helping to support and fundraise for various non-profit organizations, locally, regionally and state-wide.
Francis and I have a strong passion and commitment for our business and put our heart and soul into everything we do. We have a very strong work ethic and we have high expectations of ourselves so we may offer only the best to our customers.
We opened our doors in 2015, and we plan on never looking back.

Island Teak carries high quality teak furniture crafted from the finest plantation-grown, kiln-dried Indonesian and Costa Rican teak, which, for those who have not yet discovered it, is known the world over as a very attractive, hardy and durable material that can withstand more than a century of exposure to all kinds of weather.
True teak, from a deciduous hardwood tree native to Indonesia and parts of Southeast Asia, is a very densely grained, golden wood that weathers to a soft gray. Its high oil content acts as a preservative and makes it naturally resistant to splitting, rot, warping, shrinkage and swelling, ideal for use outdoors but a beautiful option for interior decor, as well. Teak is also stain and bug-resistant and easy to maintain. For those reasons and more, its popularity just continues to spread and individuals’ collections continue to grow.
Island Teak has been an established retail business for 16 years on Long Beach Island. We are a stocking dealer of Kingsley-Bates and Jewels of Java. However, we can source from most major high quality distributors such as Gloster. We also sell custom cushions and umbrellas. Free local delivery.
